Apartamento tranquilo y luminoso con estacionamiento | REMS

Positive: The apartment is located in a historical centre which is good as you can easily explore the city. However the apartment bedrooms face the street and the bar downstairs. The noise goes up to early hours - people are standing outside on the street, right under your windows. Once the bar is closing, they start to stand next to the entrance door, so it is uncomfortable to get inside as long as you are arriving after sunset. Negative: Absolute nightmare of a listing. Arrived at 11am, we were informed that 1 of the toilettes (of 2) is not working. It was not fixed till the checkin(5pm),we were not given an option of another accommodation. Given the time of information provided to us, this is not a situation that happened 10 mins before we landed but definitely an issue from day before. We booked this place because it looked new and renovated with 2 bathrooms - we were 6 people. Instead the apartment had it's glory quite some time ago. No bottled water, 3 coffee pods+2 toiletry set for 6 people in total. The not working toilet was in the bathroom that was inside one of the bedrooms and was in DISGUSTING state and smell. We kept nudging the accommodation to fix it, but they always gave a diplomatic answer of "we are working on it." As this was a weekend stay, the toilet was fixed only fixed Saturday late afternoon and basically complicated the whole thing. Not to mention, the plumber did not speak a word of english and himself was mortified when saw it and accidentally met us at the apartment when he was fixing it. They noticed us over the phone that he will be there in 10 mins when we were out in the city. We requested a partial refund of our money as this stay was limiting, falsely presented and wrongly communicated. We have kept pushing the REMS group to give us an answer to which they refused to put it into writing (as they are aware of the illegality of it) and called us on Saturday evening to inform us that they can refund 120 € in two ways. Either in full amount but I cannot give them bad review or anything under 9 points! Or they can refund me 60€ now and then only after 3 months (when the booking review period is closed) the other 60€. So basically they want to keep your mouth shut in order to keep the score of their listings. I opened the dispute with booking to which they were not able to find a solution with this provider either. The team is sketchy - AVOID BY ALL MEANS!!!

Amazing!! Positive: The apartment was fabulous - exactly as it looks in the photos! Location was so central, less than a minute walk to restaurants, shops etc. Check-in was later than expected but we could leave our bags in the booking office, which was great! Negative: N/A

Nice place for the 6 of us. Bit pricey but because there were 6 people, it was fine. Positive: Very clean and spacious. Location was nice and quiet. We were met at the entrance and shown around. Negative: Ants in the kitchen but they were tiny so not too much of an issue. Many steps up to the apartment on second floor. No lift.

Negative: Noise outside at night

Positive: De locatie was top. Het appartement is mooi, schoon en ruim. Negative: Door het gehele appartement hangen camera's, zelfs in de slaapkamers. Er worden geen waterflesjes aangeboden. Daarnaast hadden we gevraagd voor een vroege incheck, maar kregen we uiteindelijk zelfs pas na 17uur een bericht dat we de sleutel op konden halen.
