Comfortable flat with good transport connections
Positive: Great location for transport. Maria Zambrano station (300m away from the flat) is 3 stops from the airport and the fare is only €1.80. Bus stop just around the corner to get to city centre - €0.50 per trip with Transbordo card. Is it far from the city centre? 20 minutes' walk to historical centre, so the bus saves you the walk. If you do walk, you will pass through Soho which is a really cool part of town with street art, nice food and drink outlets and an authentic local atmosphere.
The area immediately around the flat doesn't have much for tourists, so it's quiet in the evening. (The Perchel area next to the station has a bad reputation but we felt perfectly safe wherever we went.)
However there are 3 supermarkets within 5 minutes, a shopping centre, and the sushi restaurant downstairs is excellent value.
Apartment is well furnished, beds comfortable, kitchen generally well equipped. Bring your Nespresso pods. We didn't use the terrace because it was cold in March, yes really. The air-conditioning also has a welcome heating function. The photos are an accurate likeness of the layout: kitchen, dining space and sitting space all in one big room, one bedroom directly off the kitchen and a small sas off the lounge leading to 2 bedrooms and a shower room. The other shower room is in the corridor between the front door and the kitchen.
Some reviews say there was construction work next to the block. It had finished by the time we were there.
The REMS staff are very reactive to questions on WhatsApp or the booking platform, and very hospitable in their office (also close to the flat) where we left our luggage on the last day.
Negative: The terrace and master bedroom look onto a busy road about 20m away which can be noisy, especially with late night joyriders. And a school playground, so you may be woken uat 8am by screaming kids. But we got used to it. We probably slept better than we would have in the historical centre where there's a lot of nightlife.
The shower drained slowly, but this may have been solved after our stay.
The kitchen window didn't click shut: the windows just slid open which might be a problem if you're on a low floor but this is the 4th floor and would be difficult to climb up to from the outside (interior courtyard). It also means poor insulation, which was a problem for us due to the cold, but probably not for most of the year in Malaga.

la persona que nos recibió muy amable y atenta
Negative: no nos indicaron desde el inicio que había que dejar un valor en depósito y se complicó un poquito para comunicarnos y solucionar la entrega del deposito
