Central apartment with Picasso vibes | REMS

Excellent, centrally located, modern apartment Positive: Excellent location in the centre of Malaga, which made everything accessible by foot. Since taxis can not enter the residential roads, it was very easy to catch a taxi/ Uber from Plaza de La merced. Supermarkets are everywhere too. The apartment itself is spacious and modern compared to others we had considered. The large bedroom with the ensuite is big and has a safe in the wardrobe. The AC is also powerful once on (it does take time to cool the apartment in the first instance). The staff were very attentive via email and through the app and provided us with a fan for the living room since the AC is centrally controlled, so each room can not be cooled to separate temperatures. The street is so quiet as well, considering its location. Beds were also comfortable. There was also a lot of kitchenware available, which was handy for a family of 5. The washing machine was used often, especially after visiting the beaches. Also, it's great that there is an elevator, too. Access to the flat is so easy through the link provided, however, it's worth to note that digital keys cannot guarantee safety as it can be easily hacked, especially if all the apartments have the same code (which we're assuming isn't the case). Negative: The kitchen is very, very small. There were 5 of us, and with the sofa bed, we had to close it up daily to use the kitchen and move the large dining table away from the kitchenette. The bedrooms lacked drawers, which would have made storage a lot more convenient. There are no balconies and no views, which can make one feeling a little claustrophobic. The bathrooms do not lock, which can be a little annoying. The communal bathroom does not have an enclosed shower, so the water can splash everywhere since there's only a shower curtain. Lastly, this is something out of anyone's control, but there is a lot of homelessness in the centre, and there are people literally sleeping on the steps of neighbouring buildings (and couples). It's quite sad to see, especially in the heat of summer.

Very chic and central Positive: Great location (in the buzz) but dead quiet. Very well equipped with everything you need. Large tv, good wifi, AC, 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable. Interior top notch. Negative: No views whatsoever, but the rest make up for it.

UN SUPER SPOT Positive: L'emplacement, facilité check in/out, réactivité et gentillesse équipe, propreté, équipement, bon rapport qualité/prix Negative: Check in a 16h pour un out à 11h. Peu de lumière directe et pas de vue sur l'extérieur. Confort des lits pas top.

Beautiful, clean & centrally located apartment Positive: Very beautiful, modern & spacious apartment with high ceilings & lots of natural light. The virtual keys were extremely convenient. Perfect place for our family to stay Negative: It could be quite noisy at times. Even on the third floor we could clearly hear the front door of building slam shut. We do sort of expect this though with hardwood flooring & older buildings
